Our cocoon warms up and it is once again ready for the days activities. In this photo you can see the rear view of our workshop space and how it relates to the rest of the church.(Photo: Nick Herder)
The morning starts with the second round of presentations from the participants and this time we have quite the international representation: England, Canada (St. John's and Montreal) and Iceland.
Dagur, one of the four participants from Iceland, has brought along an orange Dalvikursledinn, a plastic sled he has produced based on the traditional sleds that come from his home town. It was a very colourful addition to his presentation.
As the presentations come to an end everyone hurries out for a bite to eat and then on to discover more of what Fogo Island has to offer, tucked away in its little sheds, stages and stores.+ + + Greg White
